with a strong run of red salmon in June and July and an outstanding run
of silver salmon in late July through September. rainbow trout swim
these waters in search of a meal. The Swanson River Canoe System boil
in the summer with rainbow trout, char and land locked silver salmon as
they feast on surface entries.
Directly in front of the lodge is
a semi private lake. Daniel's Lake is well known for producing some
outstanding fishing for rainbow trout. Enjoy an evening canoeing or
boating around the lake, fishing for wild rainbow trout, or just
relaxing in the tranquil solitude of a true Kenai Peninsula Lodge.
